Spunky Manjula will be seen in a spate of movies.
When Hyd Times called up to confirm the khabar, all she said was that she was shooting at Patancheru and the film's title is yet to be decided. Manjula is said to be doing a meaty role in the film being directed by VK Prakash.
It may be recalled that when her family was opposed to her entering films, spunky Manjula went on to act, albeit in an off beat film Show, directed by Neelakanta, which won a national award for best screenplay. What caught everyone���s attention was Manjula's acting prowess.
Though it was her first film, she got into the skin of the character effortlessly. Doesn't come as a surprise considering whose daughter she is.
The actress who has no formal training is picky about her roles and is also a successful producer with films like Nani and Pokiri. Donning multiple hats comes easy to this lady with ��lan and chutzpah who has more films in her kitty.
